Late, yes. But do it.

Give me one of my characters and one of yours, and I'll tell you how they end up together and what their first-born is like, even if they are unqualified to have children. I will probably also give you a PB.

Shack and Shaq (Shack Attack?)

The year was 2009 and Kingsley Shacklebolt hadn't had a vacation in three years. He likely wouldn't take one for another three had his undersecretary arranged an international portkey for him behind his back and gotten in touch with Garrison, essentially forcing him to go visit his family in Phoenix, Arizona.

He knew who Shaquille O'Neal was - he'd played Quidditch for the American national team (and was the only good player on the team) in his early twenties before quitting to concentrate on basketball. Kingsley was a big fan, so when Garrison mentioned that Shaq had "chirped" or "twittled" or something (whatever that was) that he was at 5 & Diner, the two brothers decided to go meet him.

They didn't hit it off right away, to be fair. Shaquille didn't have fond memories of losing to the British team, and they had an argument over who would pay, with Kingsley's unfamiliarity with the American Dollar causing him to lose. He didn't like losing.

The two Shacklebolts thought it would be the last they would see of the NBA superstar, the next day he "twiddled" again. This man Shaq had just met was the Minister for Magic in Britain? He'd had no idea. He wanted to make up for his rudeness. They went out. They went out again. They went out a third time and no one but Kingsley was surprised.

It was a difficult relationship, since both had large commitements on opposite sides of the world, but Shack could send international portkeys for Shaq and when Shaq finally retired from basketball for good, they decided to finally tie the knot and start their family.

SHAQUELINE SHACKLEBOLT-O'NEAL

- Adopted, since Kingsley has a weak spot for orphans. Also because two men can't actually procreate.
- Tall, like her dads.
- Shaq taught her how to play basketball at an early age.
- Shack taught her how to ride a broom from a early age.
- First word was "Shiiiiiit." Second was "Kazaam!" Both Shack's fault, though Shaq was not that amused with the second.
- Gryffindor.
- Will grow up to be a famous dueller.

Petra was the first one on the scene when Sturgis was mugged on his way home from his third (and last) day of work at McDonald's. Sturgis tries to normally make the story a bit more exciting (and less pathetic on his part) and Petra lets him. She really doesn't mind - she knows most men might have issue with their wife being the primary breadwinner and about five times as deadly, but Sturgis doesn't and she loves him for that. And then she trains him more.

They waited to have children until after the war ended. They knew it was a risk, that one or both of them might not make it out alive, but Petra really couldn't without losing out on valuable opportunities as a spy within the Ministry, and they didn't want another able-bodied Order member out of commission due to pregnancy.

So the day the war ended, they jumped right into bed. Well, not literally. There was a lot to do even when the war was "done," and it wasn't until three years later that they actually set to begin their family. It took a little while, but eventually they had success and before long little Petra was getting odd looks when she'd go off on her own from people who obviously thought she was a knocked-up teenager - or at least until they spotted her wedding ring.

Sturgis was about the best father any child could ask for - he would even laugh when his son peed on him, and that said nothing of the waking up in the middle of the night constantly when Petra worked the overnight shift, the cereal-feeding, the piggy-back rides, and the make-believe games. Petra came home one evening to overhear Stugis telling tales of Petra capturing all the dark wizards and how there weren't any monsters under the bed because they were all too afraid of Mummy.

They had three more after that.

Alfred Josef Podmore

PB: Sam Huntington

- Called Alfie.
- A total wild child as a toddler. The boy had a ridiculous amount of energy but he slept very very well at night. And all through the night.
- Ravenclaw
- Grew up to train wild magical animals.
